Was on trial with Southend United in August 2000 and was offered a professional contract by the Shrimpers but the offer was withdrawn following the dismissal of manager Alan Little.
Released by Town in October 2000 (not June 2001 as previously noted) and joined Canvey Island the same month (not August 2001 as previously noted).
He moved from Canvey Island to Grays Athletic in August 2002 in a swap deal that saw Jeff Minton move in the other direction.

Began his career at the Town Academy before moving first to Southend, then Grays Athletic, across the Thames to Gravesend & Northfleet and then to Aldershot Town. It was at the Recreation Ground that he began attracting the attention of Football League scouts and signed for QPR, then under the management of Ian Holloway, in November 2004. He made just eleven appearances (plus another 5 as sub) for the R’s before a move to this current club Stevenage Borough in January 2006.
