& Dunstan Uts 2-0 West Auckland Town

Both are from 2012. The first ones is an interview where he talks briefly about Ipswich & the second one is the the FA Vase final at Wembley where he has a goal disallowed.

Made 17 appearances for Dunston UTS in 2013/14 season so is still going strong at the sprightly age of 43.

  • Looking at Rothmans, Bridlington made the Vase Final in 1993 (not 92), but Chris is not included in the team that played in the final. He may have played in earlier rounds as played a total of 5 games for the Yorkshire side A picture of him on the Bridlington website - http://www.bridtownafc.com/playersprogressing.htm

  • Total appearances for Blyth Spartans 47 plus 1 as sub and 2 goals.

Moved to Dunston UTS om June 10th 2011. Still at Dunston now, helped Dunston win the FA Vase in May 2012.

Northern League and BBC Radio Newcastle player of the year 2011-2012.

According to Dunston website also won the FA Vase whilst at Bridlington in May 1992 -His spells at Birmingham (and also Kettering) seem to be on loan from Boston.

He then moved to Bridlington and went on loan to Guisborough, He then followed the Bridlington chairman to Doncaster Rovers.

  • After spending last season at Gateshead, Chris has now moved to Blyth Spartans for 10/11, where he will combine playing with coaching

  • Chris has signed a new one year deal with Hamilton- keeping him there till the end of 08/09 season- he was planning to take a coaching job in Gran Canaria.

  • I have emailed Soccerbase on this also. The figure quoted for Swailes` transfer from Doncaster to Ipswich in 1995 is incorrect. Accessing George Burley`s list of transfers at http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/main.jhtml?xml=/sport/football/john_ley/sftips.xml shows that only £150000 was paid for him, not £225000. I hope you will be reviewing this information. Thanks.
