Some updates to earlier info posted against Liam's profile....
Initially with the Norwich City academy, before switching to Town, he had also played youth football for Bungay Town and had also captained Suffolk.
Officially joined the Town Academy in July 2002.
Released by Town in the summer of 2005.
On trial with Dagenham & Redbridge in July 2005.
Joins Bishop Stortford in August 2005, but moves to Long Melford and Leiston follow in quick succession.
By now with Woodbridge Town, turned out for Ipswich reserves in the home fixture with Fulham in January 2006. -

Liam has joined Eastern Counties Division One side Ipswich Wanderers for the 2010-11 season. He made his debut on July 10th in a 5-0 friendly win over East Bergholt United.

LIAM Manning has left Melton St Audry`s after taking over the club`s managerial reins midway through last season. The Saints have a tough game against current Kingsley Healthcare SIL Senior Division champions Grundisburgh tomorrow (12 Sept 2009) after suffering defeats in their opening three matches. Manning is just 23 and was believed to be the youngest manager in senior football in the county. He has not ruled out a return to playing, but for the time being is going to give club football a miss. “I was not enjoying it,” said Manning. “To be honest I did not have any knowledge of the league and I have found that difficult.

Liam returned to Woodbridge Town for the start of the 08/09 season but soon moved to Wroxham. Left there at the end of December 2008 and moved to Melton St Audry where he is now player manager at the young age of 23. He will still also continue to coach at the Ipswich academy. When Liam first left Ipswich he played for 10 months in Iceland.

After being let go by the Academy, he joined Leiston but then left for a short spell at Woodbridge Town. Returned to Leiston midway through the 06/07 season.
