Long time ago but I think I met Michael (and got taken apart by him) at trials for Newham Borough. I'm fairly sure that Martin Ling was also there and was the only person that could get anywhere near him!

Michael went to same school as me in east london and was a bit of a star. i bumped into him on the london underground once and he told me he had to give up the game due to injury and he was coaching at chelsea. by all accounts he is still there. best of luck with that MC.

Does anyone know what happened to Michael Cole after Fulham? I know he sustained a serious back injury there, does anyone know if he made it back playing for Fulham or anyone else?
