  • Between his spells at Bury and Ipswich Wanderers, Murray played for Harwich and Parkstone (was playing for Harwich in 90/91 season)

  • Murray joined Woodbridge Town in July 1997 from Ipswich Wanderers.

    He played for Woodbridge for at least two seasons but only playing occasionly

  • In 1985/86 Murray was playing for Bury Town alonside a certain Simon Milton

  • Brother of Town legend, Russel, moved to Ipswich from Derbyshire when his father Rex (ex Derby player) took over the centre spot bar. Played for a number of local non league sides and is now a Suffolk policeman.

  • Not exactly sure of the dates but Murray Osman moved from Town's youth set-up to Colchester sometime prior to the 82-83 season. Scored in the U's 4-2 loss at Portman Road in first round of the FA Youth Cup in October 1982.
