Belived to have played one senior game for Stockport County, went to non league football after a pelvic injury stopped him playing football. As well as Hadleigh also played for Harwich and Parkstone. Since leaving the Hadleigh job has stated playing Rugby Union, as a 15 year old he played rugby for the West Of Scotland and is now playing in the second row for Hadleigh Rugby Football Club

After not making it at Ipswich, Peter played for a while at Stockport County (not sure if or how many games he played there- anyone help?) Peter then returned to Ipswich, where he has played for a number of Eastern Counties teams. spent 08/09 as a coach at Debenham Leisure Centre and 09/10 as manager of Hadleigh United, whom he parted company with in May.
