Spent the early part of the 82-83 season on loan with Dutch Second Division side Maastrict and there were rumours that the move would become permanent, although ultimately they remained just that.

Rob works with me in a secondary school in Belmullet in Co. Mayo coaching soccer teams. He has been quite successsful in winning two irish schools titles with his teams in 1998 and 2005. He's a very nice man, enjoys a pint and lots of banter. sounds like he's settled in fairly well

I remember Robin from a few years ( early 90s) back around the time when Tallagh hill won the Erris League and from training with Erris United he was a sound man, He lent me his suit bag once appologies as I believe it was never returned. Here`s a little triva about Robin, did you know that he starred in the the film THE GREAT ESCAPE as one of the players on the German team. Sorry folks I meant the film ESCAPE TO VICTORY with Pele and Micheal Caine and of course that other town old boy John Wark.

Hello, I can tell you that Robin lives in Erris in County Mayo West of Ireland at present and managed and played for 2 Junior clubs including mine in the Mayo League. E-mail me for more info. Currently he works in a local Secondary School where he is still involved in soccer. Regards, Gerard Sweeney.

Robin is my cousin and I have lost touch with him,I last saw him about twenty three years ago, at that time he was living near to Ipswich,if anyone knows of his present whereabouts I would appreciate being able to get in touch with him, I have tried to make contact over the internet searching for him in Carlisle, he has a brother called Alan and a Sister called Linda,I have not been able to make contact with them either. I now live in Salisbury Wiltshire and am retired, it would mean a lot to me to be able to see the family again. Thankyou. Regards Geoff Sidwell.
