I'm not sure but i think this may have been Trevor Marriott who was a left back born 22/11/1948 in Bedford. He was an amateur at the time on Bedford Town's books and during this season (65/6) won at least one England youth cap. Turned pro for Bedford in 66/7 but didn't get any higher in the game, later playing for Wellingborough, Potton Utd and Kempston Rovers. At the time Bedford were managed by Basil Hayward who was a big mate of Bill McGarry the then ITFC manager and this may explain the link, if I'm right.
