I think this may be a Tevor Tearney who instead of joining us, joined Birmingham City, did not make it at the club but moved into non league football with Forest Green Rovers (November 2001), a midfielder/striker from Newcastle. Went onto play for a number of non league clubs including Barrow. If it is the same player, this season he is playing for a club on Wearside, Coxhoe Athletic.
