FREDDY EASTWOOD will be crossing his fingers his scoring 'curse' does not strike again.
The striker netted both goals in Coventry's 2-0 opening-day win over Portsmouth - then spent two months out after a knee operation.
Now, after firing Saturday's equaliser he admitted: "I'm desperate to get a good run in the team.
"This was only my fourth start and I'm extremely keen to stay in the side - I feel really good."
Eastwood rattled in a low shot from 20 yards on 48 minutes to cancel out Rory Fallon's opener.
His strike partner, Marlon King, was then sent off for a reckless challenge on Darren O'Dea.
City boss Aidy Boothroyd said: "If you tackle with both feet off the ground, you risk trouble."
Town chief Roy Keane moaned: "Some of my players weren't brave enough in possession."
