Match Report

MK Dons 3-3 Ipswich (aet)

Sean O'Hanlon's decisive penalty gave MK Dons a 5-3 shoot-out victory to dump Ipswich out of the Carling Cup.

Dan Harding had missed his spot-kick for Town, but O'Hanlon made no mistake.

Leon Knight's strike and Alex Bruce's own goal had put the Dons in control, but Alan Lee's penalty and Kieran Murphy's own goal levelled the tie.

Owen Garvan's header put Ipswich ahead eight minutes into extra time, but substitute Kevin Gallen's last-gasp spot-kick took the tie to penalties.
