Match Report

FRIENDLY JOY FOR ROY

Ipswich manager Roy Keane hailed his side's "spot on" attitude after they won a pre-season friendly 3-1 at Brentford.

Lee Martin scored his first goal for the club since his move from Manchester United and teenagers Connor Wickham and Jordan Rhodes were also on target for Town.

Keane said: "I really enjoyed it and it was a very good workout for us.

"These games are priceless in terms of pre-season and getting time on the pitch for the players.

"We won't over-analyse the game. There were parts we know we have to improve on but again the players' attitude was spot on."
