Blackpool 1-1 Ipswich
Ipswich regrouped after going down to 10 men and a Jon Walters equaliser saw them claim a draw at Blackpool.
Claus Jorgensen gave a dominant home side the lead when Stephen McPhee set him up to tap home from eight yards.
Town then had Castro Sito sent off for a dangerous challenge on Wes Hoolahan and McPhee could have sealed a win for Blackpool but he headed wide.
Instead, Walter headed home a Gary Roberts corner and Ipswich held off some late pressure to pick up a point.
Blackpool boss Simon Grayson:
"We didn't really play as well as we could do. We lacked quality, we lacked patience.
"It's difficult when you play against 10 men. They were galvanised by their goal. But we weren't good enough.
"We could have been nine points clear of the relegation zone with a comfortable 1-0 win, so we have to learn from our mistakes."
Ipswich manager Jim Magilton:
"It's a confidence booster for us. We haven't won but we haven't lost. It was important that we got something from the game and we did.
"When you're down to 10 men and you're a goal down you fear the first, but Jon put in a terrific shift again, it was a fantastic header and it was a great time to score.
"We have 10 days now until our next game, which is a little disappointing, but hopefully we'll get one or two new bodies in, have time to work with them and hopefully move on."
