Match Report

Naylor thanks fans for turn-out

A crowd of 10,000 turned out at Portman Road to watch Ipswich stalwart Richard Naylor's testimonial on Saturday.

The 29-year-old scored in a 3-3 draw between the current team and the side that won promotion to the Premiership through the play-offs in 2000.

Naylor told Ipswich's website: "I cannot thank the fans enough for coming out and supporting me.

"Walking out at the start with my children and receiving the ovation I did was a very special moment."
