Town trounce the Don's
Ipswich heaped more misery on Milton Keynes-bound Wimbledon with a dominant display at Portman Road.
First-half strikes from Alun Armstrong and Richard Naylor, plus goals after the break from Darren Bent and Pablo Counago extended The Dons losing streak to seven games.
Ipswich made the early running and their pressure paid off on 24 minutes when Alan Mahon whipped over a cross and Armstrong beat Steve Banks with a diving header.
Mahon was a thorn in Wimbledon's side and he was instrumental as Ipswich doubled their lead three minutes later.
Again Mahon crossed form the right and Armstrong headed the ball down for substitute to bundle the ball home.
After Mahon went close, Wimbledon hauled themselves back into the game on the stroke of half-time when Patrick Agyemang took advantage of confusion between Naylor and Georges Santos to poke the ball through Kelvin Davis' legs.
Agyemang wasted a chance to level on the hour when he screwed his shot wide from six yards.
The Wimbledon striker flashed a volley wide before Ipswich gave themselves some breathing space seconds later.
Mahon was again the creator with another cross which saw Bent ghost in at the far post to tap the ball into an empty net.
Counago, who had earlier hit the bar, sealed the points from the penalty spot after Kamara had pulled down Mahon.
