Five home players scored at Portman Road last night as Ipswich made an easy advance into the second round of the U.E.F.A Cup.
In only the seventh minute Ipswich increased their 3-1 first leg lead when Nygaard let a long shot from John Wark slip through his hands.
The Norwegian part-timers, fighting a relegation battle at home, fell further behind after 18 minutes when Muhren blasted in a drive after McCall had miss-fired a Brazil cross.
Two minutes later the weak Norwegians let in Muhren.He played a brilliant 1-2 with Butcher the left then hit home a venomous drive.
Butcher struck the bar and Brazil blasted over before Ipswich made it four in the 36th minute. Muhren crossed and Thijssen pounced to rifle home the loose ball.
After the interval Nielson cleared of the line from Muhren and Nygaard made a fine save from McCall.
Turner, replacing Brazil missed a good chance before the Norwegians had their first real chance. Drystad struck the side netting after a good run down the left.
Parkinson replaced Burley before Ipswich made it five in the 58th minute, Mariner heading home after good work by Turner.
Five minutes later McCall hit his first senior goal for the club with a low drive from a Thijssen pass.
In the 83rd minute McCall made it seven chipping in superbly from 30 yards.
