Match Report

MAGILTON SINGLES OUT WILLIAMS

Ipswich boss Jim Magilton praised his men after their first pre-season game ended in a 1-1 draw with Boston.

He especially singled out Gavin Williams, who played his first game since limping out of action in February with a knee injury.

Magilton told the club's official website: "It was a good exercise for us and the first 45 minutes were very pleasing.

"Gavin Williams did terrific in the middle of the park and I was really pleased with his all-round game."
